In 2020, we supplied and installed a 21.7kW solar PV system at Steel House, designed to provide long-term energy savings and a strong financial return. The system features 70 × 310W JA Solar™ JAM60S01-310/PR/1000V modules, split into two arrays (46 panels and 24 panels), paired with a Solis-3P20K-4G 20kW 3-phase inverter equipped with DC isolator and WiFi monitoring. A robust Renusol VS+ roof mounting system supports the array, while an Elster A1100 OFGEM-approved generation meter and AC isolators ensure safety and compliance.
This installation is projected to generate approximately 18,402 kWh per year and deliver an estimated payback of £1,904.57 annually when at least 50% of the generated energy is consumed on-site. Greater on-site usage will further improve the financial return. JA Solar modules are backed by a 25-year linear performance warranty and 12-year product warranty, while the Solis inverter includes a 10-year product warranty, offering long-term peace of mind.
