This client came to us during the beginning of the energy crisis in 2022, wanting to reduce his bills (as everyone did at the time) and wanting a quotation for a Solar PV system with battery storage. Living up in Stakeford, an area more prone to power cuts than others, he wanted to ensure he could use his batteries throughout a power cut. He also wanted sufficient energy in those batteries to last a full day.
We quoted and successfully installed a 4.8kWh Solar PV system linked to an 11.6kWh SolaX Lithium battery storage system. To enable the system to work off-grid, we also installed a manual changeover switch, giving the client that vital power he needed throughout a power cut.
