9.1kW Solar PV System with 13.93kWh Battery Storage

West End United Reform Church successfully advanced its sustainability efforts by installing a 9.1kW solar PV system paired with 13.93kWh of battery storage. This project was funded by BEST and designed to reduce operational costs and lower the church's carbon footprint.

Throughout the process, Sustainable Energy Engineering worked closely with the church to identify its specific energy needs and navigate the funding requirements secured through BEST. Previous successful installations under the same scheme gave the client confidence in both the technology and our installation expertise.

This solar system not only contributes to significant energy savings but also enhances the building's resilience against rising energy prices. The sleek, all-black design of the AIKO Neostar panels ensures the installation remains visually pleasing while delivering high performance.

Beyond environmental benefits, the system includes practical features such as a bird exclusion kit to protect the installation and new distribution boards to safely integrate the solar and battery system into the church's existing electrical infrastructure.
