This customer was a returning customer who had a system installed back in 2015 during the days of the feed-in tariff. He has since moved property and instructed us to install another system at his new property in Gainford, Darlington.
The system we quoted for was a 4.8kW Longi Solar PV system with a Fox ESS battery storage system. The Fox ESS system featured a 3.7kW hybrid inverter and the 8.2kWh Fox ESS Cube lithium battery. The benefit of the Fox ESS Cube is that it is an expandable system comprised of 4.1kWh units. This means the client could add to the system should his usage patterns change in the future.
He was also interested in using power in a blackout, so we quoted and installed a manual changeover switch to supply power to the entire house if the grid goes down.
