In July 2011, Mr Baines chose Sustainable Energy Engineering to design and install a high-efficiency solar PV system at his home in Bedfordshire. Working closely with the client, we delivered a full turnkey solution using premium Sanyo panels.
The 3.5kW system consists of 14 × 250W Sanyo HIT-250HDE4 panels and a 3.2kW Eversolar grid-tie inverter. The install was completed within a week and was designed to offer strong long-term returns via both energy savings and Feed-in Tariff (FIT) income.
This setup is expected to generate around 2,792 kWh annually, with estimated yearly returns of £1,426.72. Mr Baines' installation is a great example of early adoption solar done right — combining trusted technology with excellent financial return.
