In July 2011, Mr & Mrs Hegarty partnered with Sustainable Energy Engineering to install a 3kW solar PV system at their home in County Durham. The system was designed to suit the property’s roof and energy demands, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective solution.
We installed 12 × 250W Sanyo HIT-250HDE4 panels alongside a 2kW SMA Sunnyboy 2000HF inverter. The installation was completed in just one week and offered excellent long-term potential, both in energy savings and Feed-in Tariff returns.
The system is projected to generate around 2,323 kWh annually and provides an estimated annual return of £1,168.48. The high-quality components and careful system design make it a reliable and valuable investment for the Hegartys’ home energy future.
