100kW Ground-Mounted System – Post-Storm Diagnostics & Repairs

Following a period of severe weather, our team was called out to Eslington Farm to inspect and make good a large 100kW ground-mounted solar PV system that had suffered significant storm damage. Upon inspection, multiple faults were discovered across inverters, panel arrays, and cable systems.

Our assessment revealed blown-off panels, sheared DC cabling, blown fuses in multiple inverters, and various mechanical and electrical issues that had developed over time. We responded swiftly with a plan to carry out comprehensive fault diagnosis, repairs, and recommissioning of affected equipment — all while preparing the system for long-term performance and safety.

Work was carried out by a team of six engineers and included replacing a full inverter unit, repairing others, panel swaps, and safety-critical upgrades such as cable tie-backs, waterproofing, mechanical timer installation, and frame reinforcement. We also assessed underlying faults and prepared the system for ongoing maintenance during future service visits.
