Solar Hot Water Systems - Fully installed from £2850.00
Solar Hot Water (SHW) systems use energy from the sun to warm your hot water and work alongside your conventional water heater. The technology is well developed, with two major types being used for general domestic water heating. These are either, the evacuated tube type above or flat plate collector. Our Solar energy systems will provide between 40-70% of your hot water needs. Thus saving you money, aswell as reducing CO2 emissions by between 0.4-0.75 tonnes per year .
Benefits:
- Reduced fuel costs
- Energy independence
- Lower CO2 Emissions
- Wake up to a shower, heated by the sun
- Help ensure there is sustainabilityof resources for your children

Because of the high efficiency of evacuated tube solar panel heat collectors, as shown above, they are suitable for heating domestic hot water and swimming pools! One unit is adequate for an average household (3-4 people), and it is modular, so you can add more if required.
Flat plate collectors, shown here on the left, typically have lower efficiencies than evacuated tube systems, but cost less, per panel and can still provide average figures of 50% of domestic hot water and are more robust. |
To be suitable your home roof must face between south-east to south-west, have an area of 2-4m2.
